Flying Colours The Universal School ("the School", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you enquire about admissions, including through our website www.fcuschool.com, our Facebook and Instagram pages, lead forms on Facebook and Instagram ads, WhatsApp, phone or in person, and how we use and protect it.

1. Information we collect

• Parent or guardian's name
• Mobile number (including WhatsApp number) and email address, if provided
• Student's name and the class for which admission is sought
• Area of residence, current school or any message you choose to share
• Basic technical information (such as the date and source of your enquiry) provided by the platform you used

We do not ask for sensitive information such as financial details, Aadhaar numbers or health information through enquiry forms.

2. How we use your information

• To respond to your admission enquiry by phone, WhatsApp, SMS or email
• To share information about seat availability, admission procedures, fees, campus visits and school events related to your enquiry
• To maintain internal records of enquiries and improve our admission process

We will not use your information for any purpose unrelated to your enquiry without your consent.

3. Sharing of information

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. It is accessed only by authorised school staff handling admissions. Information submitted through Facebook or Instagram lead forms is also processed by Meta Platforms in line with Meta's own privacy policy. We may disclose information if required by law.

4. Data retention

Enquiry details are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry and for reasonable record-keeping, generally not more than 24 months, after which they are deleted. If your child takes admission, information is retained as part of school records as required by applicable rules.

5. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information against unauthorised access, misuse or loss. Access is limited to staff who need it to respond to you.

6. Your choices and rights

You may ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your information, or to stop contacting you. You can also reply "STOP" to any WhatsApp or SMS message from us. We handle such requests in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

7. Children's information

Admission enquiries should be made by a parent or guardian. Any information about a student is provided by the parent or guardian and used only for the admission process.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with the "Last updated" date.
